Display testing and color accuracy

Solid-color screens can help with visual checks for dust, stuck pixels, dead pixels, backlight bleed, contrast, and uneven color. Results are observational and can vary with display technology, calibration, brightness, color profiles, browser behavior, viewing angle, and ambient light.

ChooseScreen is not a replacement for professional calibration equipment, diagnostics, repair services, or safety-critical testing. Do not rely on it for medical, scientific, legal, or other decisions that require verified measurements.

Update simulations and screen effects

Update-themed, error-themed, broken-screen, terminal-style, and similar pages are visual simulations. They do not inspect, update, diagnose, damage, or repair your device, operating system, files, or software.

References to operating systems, products, and trademarks identify the visual style being simulated. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners. ChooseScreen is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by those owners unless expressly stated.

Use visual simulations responsibly. Do not use them to impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent the condition of a device, obtain information, interfere with work, or support fraud or unlawful activity.

Generated downloads

Solid-color PNG files are generated in your browser from the color and dimensions you select. Before relying on a downloaded file, verify its size, color, format, and suitability for your project.

You are responsible for how you use, store, publish, or share downloaded files and for respecting any rights that may apply to other material used with them.

Advertising and external services

ChooseScreen may display advertisements and may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including Google. Advertising does not amount to a recommendation or guarantee of an advertiser, product, service, or claim.
